LECTURES

Mr. Fauzi taught us the basics on how to cutout an image and how to remove the background of it to be then used as an object that has no background where it has way more flexible usages. We also learn about some filters that can be used to increase the realism of the photoshopped image.

PRACTICAL

So for the first exercise we have to crop Shazam and fit him into the Hearst Mansion, after that i placed him beside the wall and put some noise, match his color to the background and putt some blue shadows using the brush tool. Next, i gave him a reflection by making a copy of him, mirroring it upside down and made the color of the reflection darker.

For the next exercise, I picked an image of myself leaning to the wall, cropped it and put it beside the wall in the Hearst Mansion, after that i put some noise on the image, blue shadows from the brush tool, color match my self to the background and made a reflection of myself, gave it a darker color, so basically its the same procedure like the Shazam exercise.

REFLECTION

When working in this exercise, it felt very cool to be able to photoshop something that looked somewhat realistic, the methods used are very simple and its not confusing at all, it felt very refreshing because other past exercises was more on the abstract side.
