TASK
The second project is mainly focused on the attachments for my mount as well as the functions of it. So at this stage I need to finalized the overall look of my mount and so I tried to explore ideas. I already have a rough Idea on what kind of armor and attachments I want to make because I drew it during the exploration phase at the second week and so I worked around that.
I made the plates disconnected into sections so that it can move freely. The main material for the saddle attachment and straps will be rough leather and will be incorporated with metal bolts. I also want the creature to have a horn attachment as well to make the creature look more lethal.

After that, I got my feedback from Mr. Kannan and he said that the idea is already okay but I have to keep in mind the armor plates near the head so that it doesn't block the head movement. I then continued refining it by adding some ornaments and other decorations so that I can finalized the look.

I also gave the creature some colors. I determine the amor should be bronze so that it can harmonize with the creatures body color.

After that I started focusing on creating the breakdowns that It will have so that the creature is more fleshed out.

For the final part, I made the finalized creature design in 2 different perspective as well as placing the rider beside it for scale and also adding textures to it.
REFLECTION
So the 2nd project is actually quite simple but what made it hard is that I was also doing the sculpting for the base mesh for the final project and so I had to focus on both of them. I manage to finish both the 3D body mesh (including coloring/texturing) and this concept at the same time which is pretty awesome because I can focus more on creating the attachments for the mount so that it looks more complex. In the end, I'm quite glad I get to finish the concepting part because now I don't have to worry about the design and I just have to focus on how it look in 3D
